These are photos of the Strzelecki Creek, Warburton Creek and Cooper Creek show they are all flowing well. The Cooper Creek was flowing 8 meters deep over the Causeway at Innamincka indicating exciting times ahead.

For the first time since 1989, the Strzelecki and Cooper Creeks have water running over the previously parched beds. The Diamantina and Warburton river systems are also in flood, and I have tours starting in June that will take full advantage of this wonderful sight.

I arranged plane flights over Lake Eyre and the river systems from various locations to suit your time frame, interests, budget and selected tour.

Strzelecki Creek

This year, water from the far North will flow down into Lake Eyre, creating a very special and unique opportunity for visitors to this region. Apart from the giant salt lake, Lake Eyre, the fresh water lakes and rivers feeding the lake will be a haven for water fowl and wildlife.  Wild flowers will carpet the flats, splashing colour between the sand hills. It will an opportunity seldom seen or photographed. If you are interested, please contact me.

Warm regards
